At the time of her rescue, Rosa was malnourished and nursing a litter of puppies. She was in rough shape, with a heavy load of heartworms. She was vetted, spayed, and treated for heartworms, and she is being fostered by a family who showers her with love and attention. Rosa is a calm, gentle girl who enjoys playing with the family's dogs, but she craves time alone with her people getting ALL the attention. At our event October 12, Rosa soaked up the love from as many visitors as possible. She loves her fosters but desperately needs her own permanent home.
